1. Complimentary Cosmetic Consultation

Come see us at Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery, meet our staff, and tour our state-of-the-art facility.  During your complimentary cosmetic consultation, you will meet with your selected surgeon and have an examination to determine if you are a good candidate for the cosmetic procedure you desire.  We may even be able to host a phone consultation for your initial visit.  Our Patient Care Coordinators will answer other questions you may have, discuss fees, financing and other related expenses.  If you are from out-of-state-, she can suggest hotel and other pre- and post-operative care accommodations and advise you of the length of time you will need to be in this area.

2. Scheduling Your Surgery

Once you and your surgeon agree on a proposed surgical procedure, you can begin the scheduling process.  A surgery date will be selected and a pre-operative evaluation will be scheduled.  Upon scheduling, you will be required to pay a surgery deposit to reserve the surgery date you have selected.  The balance will be due at the pre-operative appointment.  For your convenience we accept cash and most credit cards and offer several financing options.

3. Pre-operative Evaluation

A pre-operative evaluation is an important part of the surgical process.  At this appointment you will meet with your surgeon, one of the surgeon’s Registered Nurses and your Patient Care Coordinator.  A complete history and physical is performed during this visit and the nurse will review with you the pre- and post-operative guidelines.

Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery and Park Meadows Outpatient Surgery take pride in providing you ample opportunity to consider all aspects of surgery before undergoing any surgical procedure.  The pre-operative evaluation gives you another chance to discuss with your surgeon any questions or concerns you may have.  Your complete understanding of the surgery is just as important as the surgeon’s ability to understand your goals and expectations.  The Patient Care Coordinators and Surgical Assistants are excellent resources in providing you additional information…remember there are never too many questions!

4. Day Of Surgery

The day of surgery can be a mix of emotions—a combination of excitement, and naturally, some anxiety.  The staff at Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery and Park Meadows Outpatient Surgery will provide you and your family an atmosphere of professionalism, kindness and comfort.

On the day of surgery you will be asked to arrive at Park Meadows Outpatient Surgery, conveniently located in the same building as Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery approximately 1 hour before surgery.

Once you arrive you will be asked to change into a gown and be provided a luxurious robe to keep you comfortable.  A private room is reserved for you and your family to occupy during this pre-operative time.  Your nurse will start an IV to maintain your hydration levels and administer any medications necessary before undergoing anesthesia.  For your safety a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist will be administering your anesthesia and will remain in the operating room throughout the entire surgery.  When you are taken to the operating, room your family will be escorted to the waiting area until the surgery is finished and you are moved into the Recovery Room.

5. Recovery

Once your surgery is complete you will be awakened and transferred to the Recovery Room.  A   nurse will provide you constant monitoring and administer any medications needed to ensure you are comfortable.  The average length of stay while in the Recovery Room is 1 to 2 hours and during this time you will be reunited with your family.

Some patients are required or choose to stay overnight for extended observation and care.  This is typically pre-arranged at the consultation appointment.  Park Meadows Outpatient Surgery overnight suite is warm and inviting for both you and your family members and provides you a level of care that is un-paralleled.  You will have a Registered Nurse attending and a Surgical Technician to your every need.
